Maurice "Mo"“My Dad passed away two years ago on June 4, 2013. We have had numerous visits from him. I know it’s him. We were readying his house for rent and he visited several times. Turned lights on and off. Flipped a breaker switch once when it should have never flipped. Turned off a radio we were listening to while working in his house. It’s an actual lever that needs to be pushed down to turn it off. I have seen blue butterflies that would keep hanging around me. My Mom has Alzheimer’s and no longer speaks intelligibly and the nurses at the nursing home said that on the morning that Dad died, my Mom said out loud, “I’m never going to see you again.” I’m pretty sure he visited to her before he left.”

The Mysterious Materialization

Helen shares an after-death communication from her primary school best friend, Michael, who unexpectedly passed during an operation, fourteen years earlier.

Helen writes:
“Can you help me understand something? When I was at primary school, my best friend, Michael, died after having an operation. A few weeks before he went in for this operation, I let him copy my spellings. The teacher asked me if I had helped him, but I said, “no.” Michael was so happy.”

This is no coincidence, but in the bit (playground) me and my friend used to play, was my spelling book. It was hardly damaged after 14 years! The school didn’t shut down until 2 years after I left, so you would have thought all things from my year would be long gone. So, how was my spelling book outside, in the bit we used to play, hardly looking worn? I truly believe that, after all these years, Michael is watching over me. There is no other possible explanation. Thanks.”

Just Beyond this Realm

Paula shares some after-death communications from her recently departed son, James. As it turns out, James has not gone, he is with his family; helping them, comforting them and teaching them that he still lives, just beyond this realm.

“My dear son, James, passed away seven weeks ago tomorrow and since his passing our family have had several experiences that we believe are ADC’s.”

“A few days after my son passed, his younger brother (my younger son), had a vivid dream; in the dream, James told his brother he could keep his musical equipment and to look after his health.”

“James was an excellent musician and a couple of years ago he filmed some blues guitar tutorials which he initially put out on YouTube.  He then took them down so that they could only be viewed by him on his private YouTube account.  His lovely wife and myself were desperate to find these videos of him singing, talking and playing his guitar, but alas, we did not know his password and had all but given up.  My daughter was using my laptop a couple of weeks ago and needed to go online; like me, she always uses google chrome, however, on this occasion, without even thinking she clicked on internet explorer and began to access google mail.  In doing so James’ google email account appeared and when she clicked on it, she immediately got access to his gmail account (James was never in the habit of saving his passwords).  As we looked through his emails, there were only two senders; a free online learning site which he subscribed to and emails from YouTube.  When we opened one of the emails from YouTube, it said something about his account and there was a link.  I clicked on the link and a message came up saying this was a private account and could only be accessed by the account holder.  Nevertheless, I clicked on the black YouTube box (after all, what had I got to lose) and to my amazement, I found a total of 21 videos that my son had recorded.  I felt that I had discovered a treasure chest and felt strongly that James had given us a gift.”

Jon Snow Dies. Really? (or Game of Thrones and The Stages of Grief)

What the crap! Really? (Shock) I’ve got to tell you that I’m a little miffed that Jon Snow, the brave, fair, wise, honorable… and not to mention, hot character of HBO’s Game of Thrones series, who had all the promise of saving this fantasy world against the dreaded White walkers, has died in a pool of his own handsome blood in the season 5 finale! Really? (Anger) As the horrific scene broke and the credits rolled, I noticed I had a visceral reaction to the show’s end. I mean it could have been a combination of the kid being burned to death at the stake, the usually nasty Queen Regent being publicly humiliated, as she was forced to walk naked through the streets to the Red Keep. Or maybe it was just the eye-gouging and the eventual death of Ser Meryn Trant, even though he was a horrible man. And then, just to top it all off; the betrayal of the decent Jon Snow by his own men! Did I mention I was disturbed about that? (Sadness and Disappointment)

Love Never Dies

In a series of after-death communication dream visitations, Sadgunnan convinces Sanjita that he is alive, well and still continues to watch over his best friend.

“It’s been a year and 7 months since my best friend, Sadgunnan, passed away. I had known him for the past 8 years. We hung out and were there for each other always. Besides God, he always protected me in many ways. We did have ups and downs, unlike other friendships, but despite the situations, we somehow got back in contact with each other.”

“It’s was a few months back in 2013, that we both got busy with our lives and hardly met up with each other, called or even texted. There was a time he wanted to meet me, but I was so caught up with my work that I couldn’t meet him. My answer was always “next time”… and when the next time came that I wanted to tell him, “we’ll meet up”, I received a phone call from his good friend telling me that Sadgunnan met with an accident, was in coma for a week and had passed away. I was deeply shocked. I could not believe or accept his death. I wasn’t able to attend his funeral, as well and had thoughts in my mind like, “That’s it!! I have lost him and will not get the chance to meet him again”. I thought of him and our memories, cried myself to sleep a lot, and blamed myself for not seeing him when he was alive.”

Mimi’s Heaven

Before Lisa’s mother, Mimi, passes through the veil to the “other side”, she promises her daughter that she will comfort her by showing her where she is in heaven. In this after-death communication and out-of-body experience, this promise is made manifest.

“When my mother, Mimi, passed away, my entire world was ripped away from me. As I left the hospital for the last time and followed her wishes to go home to be with my son, Kevin, I remember that I literally felt her leave this Earth. Crushed by the realization that she was gone, time stopped for me. Everything seemed like a blur. It was just as though I’d fallen into a black hole and was falling into the darkness below me. I had no will to even try to grab the sides to stop myself. I was so lost, and felt so alone in this world without her. I had no sense of time; not whether it was night or day.”

“I remember only fragments- like my son, Kevin, speaking softly on the phone to my dad, saying things like, “No, she’s not eating anything” or “I haven’t seen her sleep at all yet.” I couldn’t wrap my head around the fact that I’d never see her again. I remember being with her and sitting with her as we talked for hours. My son told me to record her, so I would have a recording of her voice, forever, but I couldn’t bring myself to play it back and listen to us together for the last time. It was too sad.”

The Gift

In this after-death communication, Carolynn receives an unexpected gift for her newest grandchild, from Julie, Carolynn’s deceased neighbor and friend.

Carolynn and her family lived in the same cul-de-sac as Julie for many years before Carolynn dropped off a plate of homemade English Toffee, and an invitation to attend a church social with her. Although Julie was of a different religion, she gladly accepted Carolynn’s invitation, and the many invitations that followed, allowing them to become good friends over the years.

One day, early on, Carolynn mentioned the roast she was making for Sunday dinner. Julie confessed that she no longer cooked for one, since her husband’s death, just 5 years earlier. Carolynn’s mind drifted off to the memory of her mother-in-law, Betty. While she was living, Betty had the compassionate practice of taking Sunday dinner to a widower in her church, every Sunday. Inspired by this, Carolynn asked Julie if she could do the same for her. Julie gladly accepted.

One day, Carolynn noticed that Julie, with her swollen ankles, could not easily walk down the driveway to retrieve her newspaper. So Carolynn, volunteered to bring Julie’s paper to her door. In gratitude of Carolynn’s efforts to go above and beyond, Julie would always say, “I don’t know anyone nicer than you!” But, Carolynn, having received so much from Julie, throughout the years, would tell you that she was just as nice.

Hope After Suicide

Wendy shares about a painful time in her life; the time her mother ended her own life. Wendy was only twelve and the oldest of five children.

It was an early morning on April 16, 1975, when Wally found his beloved 31 year-old wife, Linda, dead in a pool of her own blood. He screamed, then closed and locked the bathroom door behind him, trying to hide the scene from their young five children. Frantically pacing the floor, Wally asked his daughter, Wendy, to watch the kids and not to let anyone, under any conditions, open the bathroom door. While in his pajamas, Wally ran quickly to his Bishops house down the street to get help.

Shortly, after Wally and his Bishop returned, Marjean, the Bishop’s wife, swooped up the children to take them safely to her home. Wendy was just twelve years old. She was her mother’s right arm in taking care of her ten year-old brother, Cary, seven year-old sister, Marie, four year-old brother, Drew, and her baby sister, Annie, barely one year old.

Just six months earlier, Linda had suffered cardiac arrest and had been recovering from it ever since. At first, it was easy to infer that their mother died of a heart attack, certainly it was more humane to those who could not understand. But it wasn’t too long before one of the kids, the Police chief’s son, told Wendy what really happened. “She shot herself,” Brad said authoritatively, to which Wendy angrily countered, “No, she had a heart attack!” Then, Wendy went home to find out the painful truth.

Vicky’s Glimpse

After her father passes away, Vicky, along with her sister, experience a series of surreal moments and after-death communications involving him, confirming that he it still present in their lives.

“Last October, my dad passed away. He was 79 years old and had been ill for the past few years. He had diabetes, renal failure, prostate cancer and Parkinson’s disease. He had 2 mild strokes and was in and out of the hospital and rehab for the past 2 years. Finally, he had a massive stroke that caused his paralysis and coma, before he died. He did not want any invasive procedures; feeding tubes or life support. After the stroke that Monday night, he passed away after 2 days.”

“I live in Illinois, and my dad lived with my younger sister and her family in California. When my sister texted me that he was deteriorating, I decided to fly and see my dad, but the night before my flight, he passed away.”

The Pact

Jackie and Grandma make a pact together before Grandma crosses to the “other side.” In this after-death communication, Jackie receives a sign from her Grandma, proving that she really is listening when Jackie needs her the most.

Jackie shares the following-
“The majority of my life, I have had dreams that come true, seen things that others have not, and talked with deadlocked ones through dreams. A few years ago my Grandmother was dying of COPD. I visited with her very often in the final days. A couple of nights before she passed away, we were talking about this. She said she knew this about me. I confided in her, that, if after she passes and I am to speak out loud to her, that means I will be looking for a sign of her still being here, and… our agreement was that she will do whatever is in her power to respond in some way.”

“She did pass within that week. Nearly a year later, as we were approaching our first Christmas without Grandma. I was both sad and stressed that the holidays would soon be here, and knowing there would be no more Christmases with Grandma. I missed her so much. I was home alone and spoke out loud to my Grandmother. “You see, Grandma,…if you are here, this is it. I need a sign that you are still here and know what’s going on now. I will be looking for even the slightest of signs that you are able to show me that I’ve been heard.” Continue reading →

In Memory of Christian…Five Years Later

Today is a much different day for me than it was five years ago. The sun is shining, my grief has healed and I am frequently smiling. This wasn’t the case five years ago, almost to the minute, when I watched Christian pass right before my eyes. Back then, the weather was literally dark. It was as though, even the heavens knew what a sad day this would be for those who knew and loved Christian. The following days, months and years would be dark, as well. This would take a lot to heal; his presence would be greatly missed. But today, as I think about Christian in this way, I am so grateful for his presence in my life, the time I had him, and for all he taught me. He taught me so much. For never have I met a more developed soul than his. I feel so blessed for him having been in my life. I am also grateful for those Earthly souls who reached out to me, tried to buoy me up when I was experiencing the darkest moments of my life. I thank you for being a light in the darkness. I call you my Earth Angels. Namaste. xo

My Heart’s With You

In a recent after-death communication, Lisa S. receives a sign of love from her departed loved one.
Lisa S. writes:
“After my love, Rod, passed on January 11, 2015, I came home from the funeral that following Saturday. I walked in my house feeling completely alone and voiced my heartache to him. Then… I looked over and this is what I found in my wax burner. I took it as a sign that his heart continues to remain with me and he hasn’t left our home. I’ve burned this daily since, and even before, and never has a heart showed up. I miss him more and more with every passing moment. I LOVE YOU BABE, FOR ALWAYS.”

“Am I crazy for taking it as a sign?!!”

Commentary- Though this heart had never appeared before, or since her Love’s passing, it did appear at the very time Lisa needed support the most. What are the chances that, of all things, a heart would be perfectly duplicated in the candle wax that Lisa was called to notice? How many times do we NOT notice those things around us that are clear signs from our departed loved ones? Probably quite a bit.

Be Happy Again

Of her first dream, Albana writes:
“Ardit visited me one more time on December 28, which was 5 months after his death. We were at the cemetery. He was lying down and we all were crying over his death. Suddenly he woke up, grabbed my hand and said to me, ”Albana you should move on. You shouldn’t feel guilty that you are living – and you shouldn’t feel guilty to be happy without me.” Then I asked him, “Why don’t you come back?” His response was, ”Why should I come back in that world full of evil, intrigues and bad things? I am at peace here.”
Then he kissed me and left.”
